There are many different reasons why any investor should consider investing in Vietnamese stocks. We can obviously think about the large dividends that many Vietnamese companies pay on a regular basis or the fact that the Vietnamese stock markets are not well developed yet and hence have a tremendous potential. When you think that neighbours such as Thailand are far ahead in terms of manufacturing base, per capita income or size of their stock markets you realize even more the potential of Vietnam. It is worth keeping in mind that more than 60% of Vietnamese still live in rural areas just like during China’s rise. Urbanization will supercharge growth and incomes. Us companies are fully aware of all this. That is why we now see companies such as Procter&Gamble or Coca Cola investing more and more in the country. This is just a beginning. Vietnam has a bright future. Do not miss the opportunity to invest in Vietnam!
