Many Vietnamese investors, just like Indian investors like gold
and they often ask us if investing in gold is a wise idea and if so, why Anh Thomas Investment do not advise on Gold (or more generally on commodities).
The answer is that we monitor commodities but we do not find Gold particularly interesting as an investment. Why? The reasons are simple, we are looking for the investments with the best potential and over the long run Gold returns tend to be very poor (roughly only 1% above inflation) and contrary to stocks, Gold does not pay you any dividend!
