Effects of Industry 4.0 on Vietnamese companies

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

It is not a secret anymore for most of the people and especially for investors who by definition tend to follow closely the news, the development of artificial intelligence is going to have a major impact on the work environment. These impacts will affect all the countries, from the less developed to the richest ones. No one knows for sure what will happen. But what is known for sure is that millions of today jobs are going to disappear. Office and administration, manufacturing and production, no sector or industry will avoid the impact. At the Vietnam HR Awards 2017 held in August, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, Chairman of FPT Software, agreed that robotics will replace the human workforce in the near future, so Vietnamese companies should be aware of the increasing effects of Industry 4.0 on their employment. When technology takes over to effectively support organizational operations, it consequently begins replacing people positions. Hopefully, millions of new jobs will be created too.
