Never invest money you cannot afford to lose!

Investing in Vietnamese stocks should always be viewed as a long-term investment. Also, take into consideration that repatriation of funds (when you want to take back your money from Vietnam) can take time because of the lack of liquidity and administrative burdens, it is hence preferable to allow a couple of weeks in order to recover your funds. There is also the possibility that your physical presence in Vietnam will be required by your broker in order to fill and sign the documents necessary for the repatriation of funds. Given all the risks involved, there is one golden rule that everyone should always follow: Never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
