Required investment skills differ between developed and frontier/emerging markets. Because of the fact that developed stock markets and frontier or emerging stock markets are different in many ways, the skills and tools needed to succeed in these markets differ too. Having been successful in a developed stock market (even though it will certainly help) does not automatically mean that you will be successful in a frontier stock market such as Vietnam. Cultural differences sometimes do matter and it is particularly true when it comes to stock investing or business in general.
