The American tariffs on Chinese exports and other retaliatory measures have put a lot of pressure on Vietnamese stocks earlier this month. The Vietnamese stock market has not been the only impacted. In fact, most Asian markets including obviously the Shanghai Composite Index have recorded heavy losses at least at some point during the month. Things seem to have calmed down recently with stocks going up again and some experts expect that the recovery is likely to be sustainable.
