Vietnam is currently classified as a Frontier market by FTSE Russel

On Thursday, FTSE Russell announced that it would include Vietnam (and Argentina) on its watch list for a potential upgrade. Vietnam is currently classified as a Frontier market by FTSE Russel even though most experts believe that Vietnam should already be classified as an emerging market.
