Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

This month of September was marked by good news for the economy as well as for the stock market of Vietnam. FTSE Russell announced this month that it was considering classifying Vietnam as an emerging market. Vietnam is currently classified as a frontier market by FTSE Russell and an upgrade to an emerging market could boost the market. Over the month, Hanoi index is up 3.1% and Ho Chi Minh index is up by 2.8%. Our reference portfolio ended up the month with a 6.6% gain. Anh Thomas returns over the long run are impressive. Since being launched, Anh Thomas portfolio overall return is +349.8%, greatly outperforming both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh indexes (+68.5% and +155.5% respectively)
